biography

An installation made for Sonntag in Berlin in 2015.

The exhibition took place in a private apartment that was transformed for the exhibition. All the furniture in the room was kept in place but a photograph of the room as it is normally used was printed in a scale 1:1 and hung from the ceiling. The middle part was cut out and used to cover the wardrobe. The process transformed the room into an uncanny and artificial stage. The artworks were removed from the wall and replaced with images of politicians and wars taken from the internet thus allowing the political life from the outside to enter the private space. In addition a video of a woman working was projected on the wall above the desk as a reference to the normal usage of the space.
